Farm Rio's colorful story began when founders Katia Barros and Marcello Bastos took their chances on launching a clothing line that embodies the feminine spirit and vibrant colors of Rio. With over 20 years of history, the brand has become Brazil’s most beloved clothing and lifestyle brand. Brazilians quickly fell in love, the booth became a store, that grew into more stores, and now FARM is Brazil’s most recognized brand.

      More than that, FARM believes that becoming a more sustainable brand is a journey where every action matters. As nature has been their greatest inspiration, FARM dedicates itself to protecting nature and giving back to the environment.

      • Since 2019, in partnership with One Tree Planted, FARM has been planting one tree for each purchase made on their global website, retail, and wholesalers. In 2020, they made a bigger step, planting even more trees in partnership with FARM Brazil. Now, they exceeded their goal and planted 649,487 trees through their global operations. More trees are on the way!

      • In addition to neutralizing the carbon emitted by their collections in Brazil, they are also offsetting the total emissions of their clothing and operations over there and globally.

      • They are introducing more and more responsible fibers into their collections, finding the best versions the industry has to offer - ensuring always that these more, responsibly-produced fibers, are independently certified.

      • In 2017, they traveled to the Gregório River in the Amazon and started a beautiful, lasting partnership with the Yawanawa people. Since then, FARM has always supported them and their history through the structuring of the handicraft chain, reforestation projects, digital inclusion, and cultural festivals.
