AJ, Manjari, Alana, and Kainoa started Tag Aloha in 2013 in the small town of Kailua, Hawai’i, with a dream of sharing the captivating culture and lifestyle of Hawai’i with the world. Their life in beautiful Hawai'i has inspired them to create little pieces of paradise that people can take wherever they go. Since then, they have continued to grow their line of beach bags and accessories and are now making pareos, hats, and pillows. They also expanded to many retailers across the state, including their signature line of Whole Foods Hawai’i bags and accessories loved by visitors and kama’āina alike.
Living in beautiful Hawai’i provides a unique perspective on the care and stewardship of our planet. This is one of the reasons why the Tag Aloha family's mission to give back to the community has always been at the forefront of what they do and why they do it.
Tag Aloha Co. is proud to be Hawaii's first Fairtrade Certified business and to donate a portion of its profits to the Surfrider Foundation, which works tirelessly to protect Hawai'i oceans and beaches. They also donate to AccesSurf, which is a local nonprofit that builds an inclusive community that empowers veterans and people with disabilities by providing them with accessible beaches, water programs, and other ocean activities like surfing.
Tag Aloha is deeply committed to producing high-quality, eco-friendly pieces that perform and last while minimizing fabric and material waste. With this in mind, all of their bags, keychains, clutches, backpacks, and beach bum bags are made from sustainably-sourced organic cotton that supports fair pay, real families, and the reduction of plastic in our environment.
