Waimari keeps their production in-house and works under a responsible business model of lean production with no overseas or overproduction by intermediaries.

Sustainably handmade in Colombia by local and skilled artisans. Most of them are single mothers or breadwinners to help them provide for their homes. These seamstresses also train other ladies from their neighborhoods and communities, activating a dynamic chain of change that hopes to give women better and bigger opportunities.

At Waimari, nothing is lost, everything is repurposed. They make the best use of leftovers. Hence, discarded materials are reconverted and used creatively.
